A Little More About Me
My wonderful husband, CJ, and I live in the beautiful state of Ohio. We have four incredible children, two wonderful daughter-in-laws, and I can’t forget to mention we are blessed with three absolutely delightful granddaughters. We also have a Goldendoodle named Jake who is a big teddy bear.
A Bit More About My Business
You may be wondering how I got started as a Virtual Assistant and Graphic Designer. When I was in High School, I completed a two-year intensive office education course that allowed me to be introduced to general administrative tasks such as accounts receivable and payable, filing, word processing, and the like. It also gave me the opportunity to work part of my day in an office setting. My first “real job” in a business environment was at H&R Block, where I served as a receptionist/office clerk. I absolutely loved the interaction with the customers and the paperwork.
One day, Bradford Business School gave a presentation at my school in the gymnasium. I knew at that very moment that I wanted to continue my education by attending their program. Immediately graduating high school, I attended Bradford Business School where I graduated with honors with an Associates Degree in Secretarial Science.
Shortly after graduating business school, I became an Executive Assistant at Medex of Furon where I supported the Vice President of Operations and the entire Engineering department. I worked there until I got married and had children. Upon the arrival of my first son, I resigned to become a stay at home mom.
The deep passion I had for administrative work did not leave me
I threw myself into the virtual world by building myself a website and becoming a Virtual Assistant who helped with appointment scheduling, email management, book formatting, transcription, membership website management, ad creation, flyers, brochures, letterhead, newsletters, and so much more! I was confident I had a solid foundation to build upon and be successful. That was in 2006. Today, I am still absolutely delighted and privileged to be providing an incredible graphic design and virtual assistant experience!
